Malia Kauhane

Senior Compliance Officer

Ms. Kauhane is a Senior Compliance Officer in the Private Capital Solutions group at GQG Partners.
Ms. Kauhane has over 30 years of experience in the industry. Before she joined the firm, Ms. Kauhane managed Pacific Current Group’s compliance-related functions. There she prepared the firm’s regulatory filings, maintained and monitored code of ethics, and reviewed and drafted legal documents.
Prior to working at Pacific Current Group, Ms. Kauhane spent the majority of her career at Russell Investments. There, she served as a Compliance Officer, where she conducted regulatory reporting and marketing material reviews to new hire compliance training. She also served as an Operational Risk Manager. In that role she identified and documented key business risks and oversaw disaster recovery and business continuity.
